    It's what every San Diego student wants. A flexible dining option that helps promote healthy lifestyles by catering to students' busy schedules, unique diets, and tight budgets.

  2. Where can I use my SD Meal Card?

    Use your SD Meal Card at local dining spots, for dine-in, pick-up or delivery. Our growing network of participating restaurants covers every type of cuisine, conveniently located in close proximity to San Diego campuses, dormitories and off-campus student housing. Is your favorite restaurant missing from the network? E-mail us and let us know?

  3. How do I use my SD Meal Card at a participating restaurant?

    After ordering at one of our participating restaurants, present your SD Meal Card as your form of payment. The cost of the meal is deducted from your current balance based on the menu price plus any additional member discounts. Log in on our Web Site at any time to view your SD Meal Card balance and your complete transaction history.

  4. What type of meal plan can I sign up for?

    San Diego Student Dollars offers a wide array of meal plan options that caters to students with appetites big and small. Choose from one of our many existing meal plan options or customize your own plan today.

  5. Can I modify my meal plan?

    Parents or students can easily modify their meal plan by using our online account manager or by contacting us via email or telephone. You can easily add more funds or alter your meal plan options at anytime.

  6. What if I want to add more funds to my account?

    You can add more funds anytime through our website. We accept Visa and MasterCard. Credit card payments will be added to the card balance immediately. You can also pay by check. Checks should be made payable to San Diego Student Dollars, and mailed to: 3065 Rosecrans Place Suite 207, San Diego, CA 92110. Check payments will be added to the card balance as soon payment clears. This process typically takes 5-10 business days.

  7. What happens to my meal plan balance at the end of the semester?

    Meal Plan balances never expire and automatically carry over from semester to semester.

  8. Are there any meal plan restrictions?

    Unlike university dining halls, San Diego Student Dollars works during holidays, intersession and summer time, providing students meal access 365 days a year. Alcohol and Tobacco cannot be purchased using you SD Meal Card

  9. What happens if my card is lost or stolen?

    The card member can log in to their online account and report their card lost or stolen using the log in menu or call the SD Student Dollars office. SD Student Dollars will then temporarily freeze the account until the card is replaced or found. If a new card needs to be created we will transfer the available balance to a new account and print a new card to be activated.

  10. How can I sign up to start receiving SD Student Dollars discounts today?

    Sign up is easy. Select one of our existing meal plans or customize your own. Once your account has been activated your SD Meal Card will arrive by mail in 3 to 5 business days ready to work at your favorite dining locations.
